Backend Engineer
We are looking for Backend Engineers who have experience working in an agile environment and understand the importance of DevOps mindset in delivering applications. You should be able to adapt to standards, technologies, and approach in producing mission-critical solutions. As a problem-solver, you are expected to work within a multidisciplinary team and IT organizations across various ING entities - thus communicating your ideas plays a key role in your day-to-day job.
Requirements
Competent level of knowledge with the following:
- Java 8 and/or 11
- OOP
- Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- Automated Testing (JUnit)
Experience working with the following:
- Code Versioning (Git)
- Design Patterns
- RESTful API development
- Secure Coding Practices
- Build Tools (Maven)
- Databases and SQL
- ORM Technologies (JPA & Hibernate)
Willing to learn and understand:
- Java 17
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Microservices Architecture
- Production Monitoring & Troubleshooting Skills
- Performance Testing
- Kafka
- Docker, Kubernetes, & Openshift
