We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub – a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania – then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies.

Formerly known as ING Tech, as of 2022 we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities under the name of ING Hubs Romania and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.

With the help of over 1600 engineers, risk, and operations professionals, we offer 130 services in tech, non-financial risk & compliance, audit and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide.

The Mission

ING WB Off-boarding team is seeking to hire an Operations Professional to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our robust focus on Non-Financial Risk, day to day management of aspects of the Off-boarding portfolio and work in a multicultural environment with global reach.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of banking experience, be a self-starter and good communicator.

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks.

Here are your daily responsibilities:

Ensuring that Customer Offboarding execution timelines are maintained across the various stakeholders;

Supporting the Off-boarding management team in reporting and data;

Taking responsibility together with the Off-boarding enforcement team for the timely off boarding of AML/FEC related exits;

Supporting the development and improvement of our process/WPIs and procedures;

Coordinating the off-boarding end\to end and Last Step Remediation process as required;

Preparing and sending out client off-boarding forms to Front office;

Monitoring product closures with local Operational SPOCs;

Uploading evidence to Vantage library;

Re-segmenting entities in Vantage;

Overall administrative tasks in Outlook, Vantage and Perun.

What you’ll bring to the team

You are a quick learner, willing to take on challenges and make them happen.

You are a team player, responsible and honest.

Experience: 2-3 years of banking experience

Tech stack/ knowledge:

Mandatory: knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.)

Education: University diploma

Foreign languages: Strong communication skills in English are essential, both written and spoken.
