We are looking for you, if you:

  • Have experience in Linux Redhat platform,

  • Have experience in pipeline automation (Azure DevOps, Git, scripting),

  • Are willing to do on-call shifts,

  • Are curious, you challenge the status quo and take initiatives to find out how things work,

  • Speak fluent English (B2/C1).

You'll get extra points for:

  • Experience in setting up monitoring (yaml, Prometheus, ELK, bash),

  • Knowledge in Risk management (e.g. solving vulnerabilities),

  • Knowledge of the Inspire (Quadient) platform,

  • Experience in relations with business partners with agreed SLA’s.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure all environments (DTAP) are adequately managed and fit for purpose,
  • Create and maintain dashboards/alerting/tools for monitoring and testing but also automate manual activities,
  • Maintain and create deployment pipelines in Azure/Devops with ansible playbooks written in yaml,
  • Within the Superflow squad you will be responsible for incidents and problem handling, test support, changes and tasks like collecting logs for investigation, doing checks after changes/patching etc,
  • Doing patching (mainly Linux) and using automated continuous delivery pipelines (Azure Dev Ops) to do software releases,
  • Align with colleagues from other squads within Area on topics like user stories, chain tests and risk aspects,
  • Fully contribute to improve the squad’s processes whilst also ensuring all mandatory requirements such as IT risk control, change control and so on are adhered to,
  • Support Risk related controls such as Security Monitoring, Identity and Access Management, Change Management, Platform Security and more,
  • Attend daily, weekly and bi-weekly (agile scrum) meetings with the Superflow squad,
  • Contribute to improvements and be proactively engaged in the team.

Information about the squad:

In this role as (Linux) Ops Engineer you will be part of the Superflow team, which is responsible for the platform Inspire (Quadient) within the Document Management area. The squad consists of Ops engineers and CJE (Customer Journey Expert) co-located in The Netherlands and Poland.

The Document Management area is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications regarding document composition, digital communication (Inbox, SMS, email), print management, scanning, data capture and archiving. We are constantly building on the state-of-the-art Customer Communication experience to enable our strategic ambitions. A challenging mission based on technologies where Linux, Java, .NET and a diversity of COTS products are needed to deliver an integrated customer solution.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”
