Senior Specialist in Data Governance and Quality

We are looking for you, if you:

  • have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Econometrics, Computer Sciences, or alike, and/or equivalent,
  • have at least 3 years of professional experience in a bank or financial institution,
  • have the ability to analyze data quality issues, identify root causes and propose effective solutions,
  • have strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies,
  • have broad knowledge of data management,
  • have hands-on experience with SQL,
  • are familiar with data governance frameworks, policies and procedures to establish data quality standards and enforce data quality rules,
  • have experience in the preparation and maintenance of the policy documents,
  • are self-organized, dedicated to deliver valuable work,
  • are eager to learn and proactively acquire knowledge,
  • have good spoken and written English - C1.

You'll get extra points for:

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyzing data sets to assess data quality issues,
  • Documenting data quality issues, resolutions and improvement initiatives,
  • Developing and maintaining data quality standards, policies and procedures,
  • Identifying and solving issues in data governance,
  • Maintaining a close cooperation with stakeholders.

Information about the squad:

We are looking for specialists to join Data & Reporting team to support data management and risk reporting. The team sifts through the complexity of credit risk data to identify, construct and implement data strategies, optimised processes, and standard approaches to address data demands across the bank.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Data Management Expert III”.
