Public Cloud Security Engineer

We are looking for you, if you have:
- demonstrated knowledge of security features in Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- experience with containerized environments (e.g. Docker, AKS, GKE, K8S),
- experience in using version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines inAzure DevOps,
- experience with ETL solutions,
- programming skills in Python,
- knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell,
- basic knowledge of Vulnerability Management process,
- communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas, facts, and opinions clearly,
- strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify issues, analyze key information, make connections, and find appropriate solutions,
- a results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiently and effectively completing tasks to achieve high-quality outcomes.
English level - B2.
You'll get extra points for:
- experience in implementing Vulnerability Management processes using security tools, e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Endpoints, Prisma Cloud orAqua Security,
- experience in validating and enforcing secure configurations of cloud native solutions, using Azure Policies and DCS (Desired State Configuration),
- experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) inAzure (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates),
- knowledge of network implementations,
- familiarity with the Kusto Query Language,
- familiarity with Hybrid Cloud environments,
- strong interest in learning new and emerging technologies,
- extra points for cloud and security certificates.

- ensure the security and resilience of Public Cloud infrastructure.
Information about the squad:
The team is a part of ING Global CISO department responsible for IT security within ING group and provides services for many organizational units all over the world. It consists of 4 engineers with IT Security and Public Cloud experience. As a Public Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, including Azure, GCP, and OCI. If you are driven by a desire to protect cloud environments, secure containerized solutions, and effectively manage vulnerabilities, we want to hear from you!
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer IV”.
