Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the commercial growth of the “Depositary Bank” product and the “Custody” product (the “Products”), in close cooperation with the sector heads.
  • Promote the Products within the Group to maximise cross-buy opportunities.
  • Works in synergy with the Ops Teams in charge of the delivery: interface between business and operational/technical resources to ensure successful and timely completion of the growth plan.
  • Suggests and implements improvements for internal business processes when appropriate / identify areas for improvement.
  • Closely monitors the dynamic plan relating to financials and process migrations, depending on the need, working closely with Local Finance, Shared Operations.
  • In charge of the monitoring and the data quality: ensures management reports and control information are put together.
  • Commercial strategy / day-to-day: in close cooperation with sector heads, define the commercial strategy and highlights commercial opportunities.
  • Commercial strategy / mid-long term: assist the head of WB, with the support of sector heads on the ongoing assessment and development of the Products to define the strategic evolutions (digitalisation, tooling, scope of business, etc.).
  • Represent the WB for internal and external new business risk assessments, financial decisions, and formal client communications.
  • Act as the first point of contact and take day-to-day responsibility to ensure the product is consistently delivered across the WB sectors (risk appetite, financials, pricing, onboarding capacity)
  • Streamline, centralise, propose trainings for our WB colleagues.
  • Key contact for events organization and sponsoring.
  • Representational function within the industry (participation to events, committees, roundtables, panels, etc.).

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Experience of contributing to and being responsible for all aspects of running a successful business including, but not limited to, operational, financial and people performance as well as more medium-term strategic considerations.
  • Extensive collaboration skills and an ability to manage through difficult situations in a manner which ensures the business achieves its goals.
  • Experience in preparing management information and presentations.
  • To work both independent and as a team member.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Adept at dealing with ambiguity.
  • Presentation skills both upstream and downstream.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of the Depositary Bank activity and the Custody services.
  • Strong market and technical knowledge in private equity/real estate funds.
