Internships

Your internship at ING

An internship at ING is the ideal opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, start to build up your own network, and learn about many different aspects of business.

Every year, more than 500 students from secondary vocational/higher education (HBO and WO level) join ING on an internship, either working within one of the many departments or conducting research for their graduation project. While there are of course no guarantees, in practice many former ING interns subsequently move into a starter’s role at ING or onto the ING International Talent Programme (traineeship). Whatever happens, an internship at ING is the ideal opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, start to build up your own network, and learn about many different aspects of business – which all adds up to a great start for the rest of your career!

Do a lot, learn a lot

Within an organisation as large as ING, you’ll do a lot and learn a lot – not only about your specialist area and the bank’s various activities, but also about yourself and whether you enjoy working for such a big company. You’ll really benefit from such insights in the future, whether you decide to continue studying or start looking for your first job.

Internships for a wide range of study programmes

Students in secondary vocational/higher education (HBO and WO level) are assured of a warm welcome as interns at ING. Your attitude, your enthusiasm and your personality are just as important as your study programme. So whether you’re studying economics, IT, philosophy or art history, as long as you show the right amount of eagerness and dedication, we’ll be happy to offer you a suitable internship.
