We are looking for a Mobile Engineering Intern to join our Wholesale Banking - Digital Channels Tribe. Our tribe is responsible for the delivery of the primary digital touchpoints for all wholesale customers of ING globally.

What you'll do

You will work in an agile team of engineers, UX, and product following scrum methodologies to deliver mobile features.Your main focus will be on the development of mobile banking features using primarily Flutter and Dart. The app has to be quality controlled by fully automated regression tests and unit tests. You will also work on enhancing tools, creating standards, and promoting best practices for all the other mobile engineers to produce the highest quality software products. In your role you will have direct influence on customer satisfaction at ING and therefore it is of the highest importance that you will put customer’s interests first.

The level of expertise and experience within our mobile family is very high and the working environment is very positive and pleasant. We don’t forget to have fun while crafting our apps.

How to succeed

  • Master or Bachelor student with a strong interest in Software Engineering
  • Former experience in mobile native application development (iOS/ Android/ Flutter) that can be demonstrated with a portfolio is a big plus
  • Technical curiosity and attention to details
  • Knowledge of git, JSON, web-services, REST, security principles
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
