Then help us activate and grow our ambassador community for the digital workplace at ING! Our ambassadors are voluntary employees throughout the ING organisation in the Netherlands and is a growing community in other countries where ING is stationed.

The ambition and purpose of these ambassadors is to help their colleagues use the continuously changing digital workplace to the max by giving tips how to work smarter and optimise collaboration. We feed them with knowledge through training, events, and continuous sharing on the online community.

Who are we? We are Workplace Services: the department that is responsible for the delivery of IT-related workplace products and services to ING colleagues worldwide. Think computers, Wi-Fi, software, telephones, and of course the support for all of these.

Are we looking for you?

We are looking for an online community ‘animal’ who loves to provide continuous support and inspiration on the online community and who is creative in trying out new ways to help activate and involve our ambassadors. Are you that proactive online communications trainee who wants to learn the ropes in a diverse and dynamic setting?

If so, you will be part of our small Ambassadors programme team for at least five to six months, starting in June 2024. You will be in charge of maintaining and activating the online ambassador community by: sharing knowledge and tips which will be provided to you; looking for inspiration and examples online how ambassadors can improve their knowledge sharing; checking for good examples within the community and help this ambassador to share their insights with other ambassadors; helping with organising the monthly global ambassador session and once a year a global event. There will be lots of space to try out new ideas and grow this community both in enthusiasm and numbers. Workplace Services is a uniquely pivotal ING department where no day is the same.

What you’ll be doing

· Watch over the online ambassador community and collect answers to support the ambassadors.

· Stroll the internet for interesting articles, documents, and examples how ambassadors can share their knowledge proactively with their colleagues.

· Create new initiatives to keep the ambassadors involved and enthusiastic and have them share their experiences with the other ambassadors.

· Perform on goings tasks on a weekly base like onboarding new ambassadors, giving them access to our ambassador community and SharePoint site, sending out the welcome mail.

· Help organising online and off-line events for the ambassadors to share knowledge and experiences.

· Write a newsletter for the ambassador community every month.

· Help promoting the ambassador programme in the other ING countries.

Your profile

· You are an MBO, HBO or university student in the field of journalism, communications, languages, or related studies.

· You love to manage the online communities You have affinity with IT and the latest (cross media) technologies.

· You are independent, ambitious, and result driven.

· You are pragmatic, proactive, and you enjoy coming up with new ideas.

· You work in an accurate and structured manner.

· You are an enthusiastic team player.

· You are fluent in English and preferably Dutch.

· You study and live in the Netherlands.

What we offer

· 32 hours/week internship for five to six months.

· You will be part of a small enthusiastic and dedicated team.

· A great chance to develop yourself as an online community manager and learn about internal communications at a high level.

· Internship allowance and travel expenses to the office reimbursed (within the Netherlands).
