Connecting link between business intermediaries and ING Business Banking NL.

As Senior Intermediary Advisor you are responsible for acquiring and serving independent business intermediaries. You know how to strengthen existing ING relationships and are not afraid to 'walk in cold'. You are responsible for the inflow and development of business intermediaries and the business they bring to ING.

You know what is going on within small and medium-sized enterprises and anticipate this in your approach.

Together with business advisers in your region and advisers from the remote advice team, you will draw up a commercial plan. You get energy from surprising your relations and enjoy organizing local events to stimulate not only in terms of content, but also relationally.

From ING Business Banking you fulfill an important networking function for business intermediaries. You can distinguish yourself and provide added value in the field of business lending, commerce and entrepreneurship. All with the aim of entering into a strategic and sustainable partnership focused on long-term results.

You already have an extensive network in your working area and you have mastered the profession of lending. You are able to conduct a review of the feasibility of a funding request during an interview. Furthermore as senior you are a valuable discussion partner for the national chains. You are comfortable at doing presentations to a network of professionals.

Your work environment

As Senior Intermediary Advisor you work mainly from home and you are often on the road towards your business partners. Your working area is the North-East or / South-East Netherlands.

Once a week we see you at ING head office Bunnik or Amsterdam where your colleagues from the Remote Advice team are also working that day. During this day there are various informal moments and formal team sessions with the aim of growing as individuals and teams. Of course, we do this in an agile way so that we remain progressive and flexible. You will also spend this day actively writing credit applications yourself. This is to keep sufficient connection to the field, the internal processes and to realize the ambitions.

You have:

  • At least HBO working and thinking level
  • Extensive experience in business lending and doing financial analysis.
  • You have demonstrable affinity and practical experience in relationship/account management.
  • You are aware of the latest developments within the SME sector.
  • You have made demonstrable impact in the business based on broad substantive business knowledge and experience.
  • You have a broad and relevant network in your working area.
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch.
