The Market & Financial Risk Reporting circle within COOR/Global Risk Services is looking for a risk reporting specialist, who provides insight in market and credit risk portfolio’s, performs analysis on risk migrations and participates in projects with the purpose to align on finance and risk data used for statutory or regulatory reporting.

The Market & Financial Risk reporting specialist knows how to convert risk (Vortex) data into valuable reports, is an expert in performing quantitative analysis on big data and build constructive relationships with internal Finance, COOF and Risk Management stakeholders. The successful candidate has strong time management skills, performs well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and has a proven track record in managing projects.

The Team

The Market & Financial Risk reporting circle is part of the new Global Risk Services organization of COOR. The team adheres to the agile way of working and is developing towards a high performing and self-organizing team. Openness in communication, close cooperation between employees and “can do” mentality are important characteristics of the department.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Prepare high quality and accurate market & financial risk reports for mainly internal stakeholders;

  • Monitor, analyze, align and report on important concentrations and trends in the credit risk portfolio of ING Bank;

  • Provide input for and participate in finance and risk (senior)stakeholder meetings;

  • Perform technical analysis on credit risk data used in statutory or regulatory reporting;

  • Identify and execute process improvements for reporting and keep individual report manuals up-to-date;

  • Strengthen the governance and control environment on reporting process in line with internal and external control requirements;

  • Contribute to the digitization/automation of reporting processes.

Who we are looking for (expertise)?

  • Master in Economics, Finance or Computer Science;

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory or credit risk reporting;

  • Proficient in credit risk principles;

  • Able to perform (trend) analysis on credit risk portfolios;

  • Seasoned understanding of the Credit Risk system Vortex and SAS analytics tooling;

  • Thorough understanding of regulatory reporting (i.e. FINREP, COREP);

  • Experience in owning internal control frameworks;

  • Expert in managing projects and aligning with senior stakeholders;

  • ING organizational sensitive.

  • Creative in designing new tooling;

  • Strong mindset for operational excellence;

  • An accurate, pro-active and hands-on self-starter, enjoying collaboration across the bank;

  • Good team player, able to contribute in a multi-cultural team;

  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English.
